Our Mission

The mission of NoteWorthy Kids is to help financially challenged families in the Duluth, MN and Superior, WI area secure music lessons, instruction and instruments for their children.

We know that music can enrich one’s life in so many ways and is an activity that can be enjoyed for a lifetime. A great deal of research also proves that music is an amazing discipline for the mind. Unfortunately, the families of too many talented children face financial challenges that make it difficult, if not impossible, for these kids to, receive formal instruction or afford an instrument. On that note, we hope you’ll help us raise the funds required to enable these young people to pursue their passion.

NoteWorthy Kids is a not for profit 501(c)(3) organization formed to provide need-based financial assistance for private musical education and instruments to Duluth, MN and Superior, WI area children ages 6 through 18.

NoteWorthy Kids, Inc. is committed to providing an environment that is free from discrimination in employment and/or opportunity on the basis of race, color, religion, creed, nation origin, ancestry, disability, gender, sexual orientation, age, veteran, military or draft status. Our Non-Discrimination policy is available here.

Making a Difference

“My family and I feel extremely lucky to benefit from the Noteworthy Kids non-profit music program.  It would be difficult for us to afford lessons for our daughter. We pay a partial monthly sum that works for our one income family of four. Seeing her musical growth and interest in piano lessons has been wonderful!  As a child, I had piano lessons which helped me to read and comprehend music, and later as a young adult going into choir, and on to a symphony chorus. It’s nice that so many different instruments are taught by great teachers!  Thank you for keeping this program going, supporting the kids in our region, as they pursue their passion for music.”
